So you don't think trading is like a game of chess? Well these machines seem to think so!

Trading against systematic trading tactics

I first experienced HFT's in 2012 when they were in their infancy. In the eight years since, the growth and broader adoption of algo's, HFT's and program trading required adapting my trading. In hindsight, I was fortunate to be introduced "at the ground level", because they continue to evolve representing a serious obstacle to traders. For example, it's often a case of navigating several different machine trading participants simultaneously. You need the skills to differentiate between them if you plan on being on point with your market read.

Trading from Tuesday is a prime example. Dealing with an HFT who churns traders at the bid/ask while simultaneously recognising a program trading tactic leading traders into a short squeeze. The live trading masterclass footage below illustrates us uncovering their tactics, in real-time.
